We strive to accommodate everybody's taste and requirements. If you suffer from food allergies, intolerances or are vegetarian, we can design a menu around your needs. Please notify us at time of booking/purchase. Additional charges for Gluten free options are applicable. Please note dairy and gluten free options are not available for our Sweet Dejeuner (High Tea Picnic).
Weather is always an uncertainty, which is why we provide several wet weather destinations planned ahead for you in the event of rain.
Our vouchers have a three year expiry in accordance with the NSW Fair Trading Act Laws. Please note, vouchers are not transferrable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Please note, from time to time there may be increases in costs of picnics & experiences. Vouchers purchased prior to increases will incur additional costs.
Our picnics are a full day experience, allowing you the time to explore the area without having to rush from village to village. However you can take as long or as little as you like...keeping in mind, your final picnic destination venue closes at 5pm and some food venues close at 2:30pm.
We recommend you start your day at 9am (9:30 at the latest) for both our Picnics and Experiences.
Apart from a sense of adventure...a warm jacket and umbrella incase it rains.
Everything you need for your picnic will be provided.
Please note, due the high demand for our picnics and experiences, we can only hold unpaid bookings for 24 hours. Once payment has been received your picnic booking is locked in. Bookings remaining unpaid after the 24 hour holding period will be cancelled.
All Group bookings must be booked and paid for with a minimum of two weeks prior to picnic date.
Wine tastings and experiences are pre booked and pre payed for. Please keep to the schedule that is provided in your clues. Late arrivals regretfully may lose their booking space depending on venue capacity on the day.
NOTE - All of our picnics and experiences include wine. We ask that you drink responsibly and in moderation. We urge you not to drink and drive and take no responsibility for accident or injury.
RESTRICTIONS - Please note persons under the age of 18 can not participate in our group of picnics or experiences however persons under the age of 18 may attend with an accompanying adult.
Guests may be required to show their double vaccination status at some venues prior to entry. This is up to the discretion of individual business owners. Whilst it is not a requirement at time of purchase/booking to provide these details to The POSH PICNIC Co, unfortunately we do not offer refunds to non-vaccinated guests should entry be refused.
We are a registered COVID safe business. All information packs contain hand sanitizer and you will find antibacterial wipes in your POSH Box.
As our focus is on providing high end, fine dining wares, we ask that you take great care with our items. Regretfully, all damaged, and or missing items must be paid for and will also incur a postage fee for replacement items.
An itemized list of replacement/breakage costs can be supplied at your request.
Please ensure you return your POSH box including all items within, to the staff at your final destination. The venue closes at 5pm. Please see LOST, BROKEN OR DAMAGED ITEMS above.
We require minimum 7 days notice for cancellation of our picnics.
We do not refund but will gladly rebook your picnic.
Cancellations made outside of this time will incur additional charges for rebooking due to pre purchased food and tasting bookings.
Experience bookings require 7 days notice in order to reschedule without penalty. Unfortunately we cannot refund cancellations made outside of this time frame.
Cancellations of mini bus hire must be made a minimum of 14 days prior to scheduled booking date. Cancellations within the acceptable time period will receive a full refund.
Cancellation of accommodation can be made within 48 hours of booking (not your booking date). Cancellations outside of this time, and within 15 days of your scheduled booking date will receive a 50% refund minus hosts service fee (where applicable). These fees vary and are subject to change.
As we aim to provide our customers with an exceptional accommodation experience, we ask that you deal directly with the host of your accommodation venue with any complaints and feedback. In addition, The POSH PICNIC Co takes no responsibility for breakages or damages to the property. Any damage is at the expense of the customer (you and accompanying guests).
A 50% deposit is required for Mystery weekend accommodation packages to secure your booking.
TRAVEL
Gentleman's Day experiences do include some driving on unsealed roads at times. We advise driving slowly and with caution particularly during wet weather and take no responsibility for accident or injury.
