What if I have a food allergy or intolerance?

We strive to accommodate everyone’s taste and requirements. If you suffer from food allergies, intolerances or are vegetarian, we can design a menu around your needs. All we need is one weeks notice. 

What if it rains?

Weather is always an uncertainty, which is why we offer our customers the chance to reschedule. Keep an eye on the projected forecast and if you prefer to play it safe, we can reschedule you to another day providing we receive no less than 3 days notice. 

In the event of rain, we have an alternate destination planned ahead for you. 

Do you do gift vouchers?

Yes we sure do. Our gift vouchers can be purchased online and at Destination Southern Highlands (tourist information centre).

Our vouchers have a three year expiry in accordance with the NSW Fair Trading Act Laws.

How long should we allow for our mystery picnic?

This is a full day experience, allowing you the time to explore the area without having to rush from village to village. Keep in mind, your final picnic destination closes at 5pm. 

We recommend you start your day NO LATER than 10am. 

What do we need to bring?

Apart from a sense of adventure...a warm jacket and umbrella incase it rains. The Southern Highlands is renowned for its temperate climate and even during the warmer months you may experience mild temperatures. 

Everything else will be supplied.  

What is your cancellation policy?

We are happy to rebook your picnic providing we receive 3 days notice prior to your scheduled picnic.

As our focus is on providing high end, fine dining wares, we ask that you take care with our items. Regretfully, all damaged, and or missing items must be paid for and will also incur a postage fee.

An itemised list of replacement/breakages costs can be supplied at your request.


Please ensure you return your cooler bag and picnic box including all items within, to the staff at your final destination. 

Any unreturned items will be charged to the picnic purchaser.


We require minimum 3 days notice for cancellation of our picnics.

We do not refund but will gladly rebook your picnic.

Cancellations made outside of this time may incur additional charges for rebooking due to pre purchased food.

Cancellations of mystery weekends including accommodation and mini bus hire must be made a minimum of 14 days prior to scheduled booking date. Cancellations within the acceptable time period will receive a full refund.

 As we aim to provide our customers with an exceptional accommodation experience, we ask that you deal directly with the host of your accommodation venue with any complaints and feedback. In addition, we take no responsibility for breakages or damages and any breakages or damage to property is at the expensive of the customer (you and accompanying guests). 

A 50 % deposit is required for Mystery Weekend packages to secure your booking.


As most of our packages include wine and tastings, we ask that you drink responsibly and in moderation. We urge you to not drink and drive and take no responsibility for accident or injury.

Please note persons under the age of 18 can not participate in Posh Picnics due to age restriction however persons under the age of 18 may participate with an accompanying adult. 

Our “Not so POSH” Southern Highlands picnic includes a section of dirt road. The road is suitable for all cars however we urge you to take precaution whilst driving.
